Our warranty is in place to protect our customers. It is very unlikely that you'll experience any manufacturing issues with your controller but in the rare case that you do and you're within warranty period, we've got you covered.
How does the warranty work?
After inspection, if we identify an issue caused at the manufacturing stage we will aim to fix this as quickly as possible. If we can't fix the issue, we will replace it with a new modified controller.
Please note: We cannot issue refunds as part of our manufacturer warranty. Customers are responsible for all postage costs when sending a controller back to us under warranty.
How long does the warranty last?
All of our modified controllers come with a 6-month (180 days) manufacturer warranty starting from the date the controller arrives to the customers address. When sending a controller back to us for repair/replacement, we must be notified & receive the controller within the 180 day warranty period.
What does the warranty cover?
Our manufacturer warranty covers controller defects/failures. This covers technical elements inside the controller and physical elements outside of the controller, for example, the rear paddles.
The warranty does NOT cover the following:
- Any liquid or moisture exposure
- Extreme conditions exposure
- Generic 'wear and tear' from use overtime, ageing or wear
- Misuse/Intentional damage e.g. dropping, hitting, throwing and other general neglect
- External defective sources that cause damage e.g. using a charging cable that is not suitable for the controller
- Tampering with the product including repair attempts, opening the controller, dismantling or modifying
How do I use my warranty?
Contact us via email@example.com with the following information: Full name, order number, address, return reason, proof of purchase
If approved, securely package your controller and send it back to the provided returns address via email. We strongly recommend using a trusted courier provider with a tracked & insured service – IN CNTRL cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.
Sit back and relax. Our technicians will inspect your controller to find and attempt to fix the issue. If it cannot be fixed, we'll replace it with a new controller.
What happens when my warranty ends?
After your 6-month (180 day) manufacturer warranty ends, you are 100% responsible for the cost of the controller repair or replacement. We are still happy to inspect your controller after the 6-month warranty period but you will be billed for the work required or replacement controller.
Upon inspection, we will notify you with the plan of action & associated costs. You can accept or decline. If you accept, you will be billed and we will carry out the work once we receive the required payment. If you decline, we will return the controller to you un-fixed – You will be responsible for all postage costs.
